what is destiny?

 

is it the want for a love...

one that fits all the desires that we're looking for...

the ultimate soul mate who knows us and understands everything we are...

 

is it the unknown adventure...

the travels that take us into the future...

the ride of a life time filled with the new and exciting...

 

is it winning...

is it the losing....

or the loss and gain and loss again...

 

are we living it each day...

or have we already had it...

is it what we make it out to be....

 

is it measured in tears and heartaches...

laughter and smiles...

or in the silence and still just before sleep...

 

is it ever circling...

ending and beginning with no notice...

wrapping around time and space...

 

does it explain hope...

bring us to an end...

will we know when it arrives...

 

do we try and change it...

or is it all predetermined for us...

even possibly a vague elusiveness that always remains out of reach...

 

is it our suffering...

to continually know pain & hurt...

or is it the getting back up after the fall...

 

do we find it at the end of a rainbow...

can we touch it & hold it like a child to a toy...

or is it simply the reason to never give in & never give up...

 

how will we know once we've reached it...

how will it feel to finally be engulfed by it...

or could we be in it now...

 

is it leading us out of the darkness into the light...

is it strait forward or twisted like vines through the jungle...

or is it split into 100's of pieces for us to pick up & put together...

 

is it a fickle bitch...

or the warming calm...

or just a simple desire...

 

where will your destiny lead you....
